After 60 years of
independence of India a permanent Health Solutions have not been adopted
for the Rural & Tribal population who constitute more than 78% of India.
The Government of
Chhattisgarh passed an Act in 2001 for starting 3 years Diploma in
Medicine as a solution to the quackery prevalent in the Rural and Tribal
area. This concept and project was conceived by us. At present 6 such
Medical Institutes are running in Chhattisgarh. After the Diploma to
students have to attend 1 year internship in a Public Health center. The
following institutes are directly under our consultancy.
Anusha Memorial Medical
Institute, Pendra Road Bilaspur C.G.
Maharishi Ashtang
Medical Institute, Ambikapur, C.G.
Government of Assam
is also conducting such program at Jorhat.
We are providing our
expertise to the Government of Madhya Pradesh to duplicate the above
program. A workshop on the subject is being organized by us being
attended by medical social and legal experts from states of Chhattisgarh,
Assam.
Ministry of Health &
Family Welfare, Government of India is also actively participating
in the process initialized by us, and proposes to start similar course
within a year or two as BSc (Health Servies)
